Christian Knowledge

God

God is love… —1 John 4:16 It doesn't make any difference how far you tried to run from God. He loves you. His eye is on you. He sees you. God loves you, and the Bible says that God sent His Son from Heaven to this earth for you. Jesus Christ came to this earth to take your sins upon a cross.

Who is Jesus

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." —John 14:6 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, that whosever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life… John: 3:16

Suggested Prayer

Praying is simply talking to God. He knows you. What matters is the attitude of your heart, your honesty. We suggest you pray the following prayer:

"Lord Jesus Christ, I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life. I ask your forgiveness and now turn from everything which I know is wrong. Thank you for dying on the cross for me to set me free from my sins. Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and be with me forever. Thank you Lord Jesus, Amen."

Is this prayer the desire of your heart?
If yes, then we invite you to pray it out loud (if you can),
and according to the promises of Jesus,
He will come into your life.

Christian

Christian literally means "Christ Follower", for whosever believe Jesus is the son of God, that whosever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

The Lord's Prayer

Our father, who art in heaven, Hallowed by Thy name. Thy kingdom come.Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; And forgive us our debts, As we also have forgiven our debtors; And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, for ever.
Amen.

Trinity

The Christian doctrine of the Trinity defines God as three divine persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. The three persons are distinct yet coexist in unity, and are co-equal, co-eternal and consubstantial. Put another way, the three persons of the Trinity are of one being. The Trinity is considered to be a mystery of Christian faith.

Baptism

The process of baptism is very simple. You begin by standing, sitting, or kneeling in some water. Another Christian then lowers you under the water and then brings you back up out of the water. You could also literally call this "immersion." Note it is a symbol that baptism's cleansing of sin and becoming a new person through Christ.

Talking to God

Praying is talking to God. Normally start with Dear God, and then the content can be praising, thankful words, confessions, praying for the others, and then end with the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. Praying must be sincere with your true heart.

Messiah/Christos

A messiah is a savior or liberator of a people. Jesus said to her, I, who am talking to you, am he.", Jesus Christ is the Messiah.

Salvation

By grace you have salvation through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is given by God: Not by works, so that no man may take glory to himself. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

5 loaves 2 fishes

Now when it came to the ears of Jesus, he went away from there in a boat, to a waste place by himself: and the people hearing of it, went after him on foot from the towns. And he came out and saw a great number of people and he had pity on them, and made well those of them who were ill. And when evening had come, the disciples came to him, saying, This place is waste land, and the time is now past; send the people away so that they may go into the towns and get themselves food. But Jesus said to them, There is no need for them to go away; give them food yourselves. And they say to him, We have here but five cakes of bread and two fishes. And he said, Give them to me. And he gave orders for the people to be seated on the grass; and he took the five cakes of bread and the two fishes and, looking up to heaven, he said words of blessing, and made division of the food, and gave it to the disciples, and the disciples gave it to the people. And they all took of the food and had enough: and they took up twelve baskets full of broken bits which were not used. And those who had food were about five thousand men, in addition to women and children.
(Matthew 14:13-21)

Six things are hated by the Lord

Six things are hated by the Lord; seven things are disgusting to him: Eyes of pride, a false tongue, hands which take life without cause; A heart full of evil designs, feet which are quick in running after sin; A false witness, breathing out untrue words, and one who lets loose violent acts among brothers.
(Proverbs 6:16-19)
